Viticulture and vinification
75% Garnacha, 23% Cariñena, and 2% white varieties (Garnacha Blanca and Macabeo). 14.50% Vol. Alc. . Ageing in French foudre for 16 months after alcoholic fermentation in wooden vats and a long maceration of 49 days, when a wonderful color and a very present and delicate tannin are obtained. Concentration, full body, and ripe black fruit.
Old vineyard on slate floors. The dark stone helps the ripening and grapes concentration, resulting in much more intense flavors.

Winery things
Álvaro Palacios, from Alfaro, Rioja region, put the Priorat region on the map since 1989 when, led by mysticism, he began the recovery of centenary vineyards and the rich millennial tradition of the area. A pioneer in many fields, he has become a benchmark in Spanish wine culture in recent decades with his projects in Bierzo, Rioja Oriental, and Priorat.
