Single vineyard wine from “El Cenajo” with vines planted in the 50s located at 960 m above sea level on gravel and calcareous sand soils facing north . The altitude and shade of these plots create a wonderful balance between acidity, alcohol, and fruit . Manual harvest and grapes selection . Gentle maceration and spontaneous fermentation in wooden vats . Aging for 14 months in 8,000 and 5,000 liters foudres . No filtering or clarification . BIO certified

Intense ruby color . The nose: violets, cherries, blueberries, and strawberries on one side; on the other, chocolate, toasted, tobacco, and vanilla . The palate: idem with a surprising freshness due to the microclimate that is created in the growing areas . Very present tannins and acidity while balanced . Bodegas Cerrón belongs to the Cerdán family . It is already the young 4th generation who continues a pioneering project from its origins, betting on organic and biodynamic agriculture, for low yields and high quality, in certain areas that are not easy to plant anything, recovering native varieties and rescuing ancestral production methods .
