Viticulture and vinification
100% Trousseau. 12.00% Vol. Alc.
Single vineyard wine, Luchsinge Vineyard, its 97%. 17-year-old vineyard on volcanic cobblestone and boulder soil at 1400 feet altitude. Luchsinge family property, whose patriarch, a Chilean emigrant, decided in the 90s to venture into planting unconventional varieties such as Trousseau and Touriga Nacional.
Vinification with whole clusters and separate. Aged in oak barrels for 8 months.
Tasting notes
Pale ruby color, admire the photo. Roses, strawberries, cherries, hints of smokiness and spices. Fluid tannin and wonderfully integrated acidity, which gives freshness and invites you to continue enjoying. Elegance and delicacy in its purest form.
Winery hints
Arnot and Roberts are the surnames of Duncan and Nathan, two childhood friends from the Californian Napa Valley who ventured in 2001 to make single vineyrad wines “as honest and expressive as possible”, distinctive and of production limited. They celebrate the uniqueness and quality of the terroir through personal selection of plots and collaborations throughout California.
