CURIOSITIES: It is very unusual, and truly surprising, to visit wineries around Spain and not have a good wine place nearby, I repeat, surprising. Rías Baixas, since 2020, is one of the exceptions. A couple of sommeliers, who met while working at the two Michelin-starred Mugaritz, decided to return home during the pandemic and take over the family’s furancho. A tavern camouflaged in the vineyards of Rías Baixas, which is becoming a place of pilgrimage. An idyllic landscape, to stop and enjoy opening bottles of wine in few places available and eat traditional dishes, without artifice and with authentic flavors.
