100% Melon à Queue Rouge . 13.90% Vol. Alc. . The Melon à Queue Rouge variety or, as some identify it, the reddish stem Chardonnay, hence its name, is a white grape variety native to the Jura area (south Burgundy) . It is clear that, being neighboring areas, it could be a positive mutation (or clone) of the Chardonnay itself in this area, since Arbois AOC itself does not recognize it as an “official” variety . Yellow color with bright golden touches . Melon, lemon, pear, caramel and toasted wood aromas . In the mouth the volume of 12 months foudre aging . Citrus, pear, and melon, elegant smoothness, nothing cloying within long fruity and caramel aftertaste
