Rheinhessen . Frankfurt am Main southwest area . The Rheinhessen is the largest wine region in Germany . Its fame, however, is relatively recent thanks to the innovation and excellence of several producers, with K.P. Keller as the main protagonist, who bet on quality wines through quality vineyards . The vineyards planting on the west bank of the Rhine River with very steep areas to make the most of the sunlight, give rise to top quality wines and some of the most full-bodied Riesling.

Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc . 12.50 % Alc. vol.  Old vineyards on clay loam soils on limestone rocks with layers of marl . Vinification in large barrels and fermentation with indigenous yeasts native from the own vineyard 

Golden color . Intense aromas, citrus, green apple, with hints of minerals and butter, wood is very well integrated . In the mouth, idem, fresh, elegant and silky with high acidity . Just a marvel

Klaus Peter Keller, joined the family winery -a project founded in 1789– in 2000 . From then on, together with his wife Julia, there was a change with a clear goal: the production of quality wines, dry wines elaboration, previously only sweet wines were made, the rise of varieties such as Silvaner, and the full entry into the “fine wines” through the utmost respect for nature and constant care of the vineyard . Keller has achieved excellence and worldwide recognition, coming to be described by Forbes as “the face of German viticulture”, thanks to the awareness, study and understanding of the terroir, hard work and a passion towards the world of wine that moves borders and is transmitted in each of the interviews to this lovely and humble family.
