CURIOSITIES: What a pleasant surprise to discover this wonderful place almost by mistake. La Señora is the little sister of the wine bar par excellence in Chinchón (the town, south west of Madrid capital – totally worth visit-), La Repesca, located in Plaza Mayor. Same wines, same cuisine and many more surprises, with everything that a wine bar wants to have. La Señora Wine Bar is the first floor of a typical house, one of the many and perfectly preserved in Chinchón, with its patio (wine bar area) well included, its rooms (kitchen and restaurant) and its basement that hides a spectacular cave full of amphoraes. A short wine list, by episodes – I. wines by the glass, II. wines by the bottle and III. reserve and grand reserve wines- and super interesting. Small producers, local wines and special mention to the fortified wines, since the owner is a Sherry Master as can be seen on the plaques that accredit him at the entrance. An experience worthy of a pilgrimage, in addition to the staff friendliness. We definately have to come back to enjoy its restaurant.
