DESCRIPTION: “We reopen. The vinobar of the Bulbiza group is back with some changes and a new image, but with the essence of what those of you who followed us here under the name of El Marginal found in the past: eat well, drink very well and, above all, enjoy. Tastings, live music and much more.
The food menu, Spanish with sparkle, is the proposal of the chef Carlos García. Tasty morsels to accompany the wine. Dynamic menu and snacks to have fun”.
CURIOSITIES: Under the slogan “Moja pan & bebe vino” or in an English version “eat bread and put it in this yummy sauce while drinking good wine”, Caiño’s website is unfair, because if the “moja pan” part (by chef Carlos García) is well detailed with the entire menu, short and simple, great in my opinion for this type of place, being a wine bar, the other half “bebe vino” (by Lucía Araque) I will deal with it in here, saying it clear that they are such a great team.
Lucía, sommelier at Caiño with a complete resumee that includes places like Angelita Madrid, is one of those people who exudes passion and euphoria for wine. She knows how to transmit and build loyalty with her transparent enthusiasm. And the same happens with the wines she has there, a long and interesting wine list with very curious options for all budgets, without forgetting the classics.
A good place to eat “raciones” with top quality products in a very casual and cozy atmosphere. Very interesting weekly wine tastings, led by Lucia, and the possibility of private events.
