Tasting: “Pago de Carraovejas: Origen, Alma y Emoción”. Vinology, Madrid.
Summary
“Pago de Carraovejas: Origen, Alma y Emoción”. Vinology, Madrid.
The origin of Alma Carraovejas is Pago de Carraovejas and the legendary Segovian restaurant José María. A family that has grown and positioned itself as a reference project in Spain.
Alma is not only unique wine projects fusing innovation and tradition, but also starred gastronomic projects, Ambivium Restaurant, for distribution and import, SV Wines, for training, culture and research Fundación Cultura Líquida
and its PEOPLE. There are no human resources, but rather people development. A detail, a great detail, that makes the difference.
A luxury vertical tasting with two impeccable masters of ceremonies, Pedro Ruiz Aragoneses & Pilar Oltra, and three undisputed protagonists:
-Pago de Carraovejas
-El Anejón
-Cuesta de las Liebres
If I have to choose, I’ll go with Cuesta de las Liebres, 2015 vintage.
A wonderful evening and delicious pairing menu. Thanks to the entire Vinology team.
