VINTAE WINE FEST, LA RIOJA

It all started with a meeting of a small group of friends, one weekend in October… I don’t even remember. The following year friends of friends joined in, the next year friends of friends of friends of friends joined in… Until a few years ago we realised that this was already a festival and we decided to “officially” turn it into our big annual party. A festival that has been growing year after year and that we have been improving and perfecting so that each edition surpasses the previous one.
Friday is the day of the “bienbebida” with a tapas and wine route through San Vicente with live music. Saturday is the big day, when everything revolves around that year’s theme; there are games, charangas, wine, the best gastronomy, batucadas, more wine, fireworks and a super show in the square to continue the party in the bars and discos of the village. On Sunday the festival moves to the Bodega Hacienda López de Haro to experience a typical Riojan Sunday, with chops washed down with wine and live music. You can also visit the winery and enjoy the views of the sea of vineyards that surrounds our terrace.
