Viticulture and vinification
White varieties blend, following the traditional Dão style production . Syria, Fernão, Encruzado, Pires, Arinto, Bical, Cerceal and several others . 12.00% Vol. Alc. . Granite soils . Between 50 and 120 years old vines at 450-600m altitude . Biodynamic and organic practices . Minimal intervention vinification . Total aging for 2 years, in new 500 l barrels and stainless steel tanks . No filtering
Tasting notes

Winery hints
Antonio Madeira is a French engineer who spent his summers in Serra da Estrela where his family is originally from . In 2010, at 32, he decided to start locating and recovering old vines over there, prompted by curiosity and led by the French natural wine movement . His first vintages came in 2011 and six years later he moved permanently from Paris to Dão . Antonio has given value to this region on the rise through regaining native varieties while having maximum respect to nature and tradition
